I'd say that Jajah works on the iPod touch. You just have to type in the number of the phone next to you. ;)

Well, of course :-) I was referring to the ability to use "just" that device while you are on the go.

Apple is known for skimping on the features in their products. While Creative includes FM radios and built in microphones in their MP3 players, Apple tends to ride at the top of the head on name alone. Why are we surprised that the iPhone and iPod touch are following suit?

As I wrote, unfortunatekly, you can't do voice over IP on the touch, however you can get presence and IM/chat functionality.
