Natali, go to advanced options and disable iCal sync. For me that was the problem.

Hey Luca, I'm a product manager at Plaxo and I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. I'd like to see if we can see what's going on with your system. Can you drop me an e-mail with what version of OS X you are running, and also about how many entries do you have in your address book/calendar?

Me too! It crashed my iCal many, many, many times. What a buggy piece of crap!
