I could not agree more. It obviously would have tremendous "social engineering" implications (what if two people rate their relationship differently? what if someone changes their relationship rating? etc.) but absolutely it would make intros and other use cases much more meaningful.

Fabio, I agree with your concerns, but I think those are issues that could be sorted out very easily. I hope Linkedin's guys are reading this...
