iPhone: Not For Business Yet

Today, off for meetings in Milan, was the first day I had the chance to test the iPhone I bought during my last trip in US.

  • I totally agree with you Luca. I did play with the iPhone I brought back to my wife from US too and got the same feeling...
    Maybe if we get this http://www.apple.com/iphone/enterprise/ we could change our minds..
    Anyway, next trip I'll by a second one to play with this enterprise beta version

    To send a safari page link just click the bookmark + and then send the link using the mail client.

    To send a screen shot or a picture (I presume you have a jailbroken iPhone) go to the installer app and then download and install the "Capture" app. It will save any screen shot to your photos on the iphone. You can send by mail from there.

    4 and 5 I agree with. 1, 2, 3. It's already partially there.

    I completely missed the "send link" option. Thanks for the tip. I think that also #2 is not possible, unless you found a way to do that too.
  • I'm agree with you Luca: iPhone isn't a business solution. But you can find Copy/Paste in Safari browser with a simple bookmarklet: http://www.biocow.com/iCopy/
    I know it's not so comfortable, but I can't wait official update :)
  • iCopy seems interesting. Thanks for the tip. My wife is actually using the iPhone everyday (for calls only...), so I haven't had much time to browse forums and mailing lists to find tips like those. Thanks.
