LucaFiligheddu.com: Google AdSense shame

I believe is the principle that matters not the amount of money, to Google it does not matter if the "fraud" was thousand of dollars or cents.... they are wealthy (!)
Using tour Adsense ID on the blue link bar is evil, I believe you when you say it was by mistake but as I usually do : put yourself in they throuser .... they need to protect themself and the Google advertisers.

There are lots of pay-per-click services out there...., and lots of email services other than Gmail...

    Welcome to the club...

Google's appeal process is a joke. Everyone gets back the same email, saying invalid clicks. They claim you either are fraudulently clicking your own ads, or you are directing irrelevant traffic. I dont think they appeal process actually ever is seen by anyone.

And now, you are banned forever. So you wanna start a new site? You can't, except if you want to lie about yourself. you need a new domain, new IP, new business name, new phone number, new taxID, new bank account, new address...

    OR

Let google die by shooting themselves repeatedly, and go get a Yahoo Publisher account.

their appeal process is a joke and their practices is questionable, and yes, they do care about every dollar and cent ... how do you think they got wealthy?

Anyway, sorry to hear you had a bad run in with them ... expect to see more and more people complaining about GOOG's biz. The halo above their is disappearing very quickly.

Sorry to hear that from you, so sad they did that. I use Adsense too, but so far nothing happen because i just very new to it, just about 2 month. But unfortunately, i always have phobia with Google. Because so many was banned before and it not give me a comfort at all.

And i think, if Google still act like that, i think someday there are none will co operate with Google, because many was banned as far as i know. If the publishers ran away, how come there will be any advertisers?

It's not professional they did like that, they must xplain and try to forgive if the fault just for 1 or 3 times and just give warning first.

Their policies are not good for a long term, because so many competitors are out now.

I hope you can succeed with another company, better than with Google. All da best :)

I've been an AdSense publisher for 3 years making a stable amount of income and maintaining my traffic, never once clicking my own banners because I knew better. On June 5th my account was disabled suddenly for invalid clicks. I have no idea why but I quickly submitted an appeal and provided google with weblogs and offered whatever else they needed. Today (9 days later) I got the very same cut and paste response as you did. I'm honestly disgusted in Google and their treatment of publishers, especially those that have been with them since the beginning.

It seems all they care about nowadays is buying out trendy websites in their prime like YouTube and FeedBurner. Now that they're overwhelmingly successful they only care about the almighty dollar, and lost the very image that made them what they are somewhere along the way.
